Medical University of Gdańsk
The Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) is a modern academic centre. The University is characterised by high scientific and development potential, which consists in particular of: experienced research teams, a growing number of prestigious international publications and grants, as well as a wide range and quality of research. The MUG research teams are engaged in pioneering projects supported by national and international grants, contributing to advancements in biotechnology, genetics, and medical diagnostics. As a member of the Excellence Initiative – Research University, MUG consistently ranks among the top Polish universities, reflecting its commitment to quality and impact in both scientific and clinical research. The University actively fosters international cooperation, welcoming researchers and students from around the world, and plays a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare. The MUG educates over 6000 students, doctoral students and postgraduate students. There are over 1000 foreign students among them.
Role within GreenNanoBone
In GreenNanoBone, the main task of MUG will be the analysis of the safety and efficacy of novel biomaterials under in vitro conditions (WP 8-10).
